PayPal and CVV/CVV2 Security

I have set up the Website Payments Pro extension in my OpenCart store and I have a question about security.

Currently, when I process a live credit card transaction, PayPal is processing the transaction even when the CVV/CVV2 comes back N (and not a match).

PayPal offers a fraud protection for an upgraded fee that will automatically deny any CVV/CVV2:N transactions; but I want to know if there is any way to handle that denial on the OpenCart side of things to avoid that additional fee with PayPal.

Is it possible to have a transaction denied when the CVV/CVV2 comes back N on the OpenCart side of the process?

I apologize for my ignorance...I am very new to the world of e-commerce.
