payments and shipping methods are fine.
modules will work but no longer require the sort and position fields.

It seems so from what I can tellscanreg wrote:Regarding the Multiple Layout feature, will you be able to turn on/off sidebars, depending on what kind of page you pull up?
For instance, what if you wanted to have one Info page without sidebars, but the rest of the site would have both sidebars. Will this be possible?
Thanks

I think this is simply planned to be a layout manager for the existing type of modules, not some totally new thing where people can make arbitrary text/html based snippets and stick them wherever they want. As in I highly doubt it will touch the header/footer at all.Can we put modules in the header part?
For example someone may want to put breadcrumbs in header, others may want to put in Content Top...Similarly, one may want to put languages, currencies etc in Header or Right Column or elsewhere....etc...seems like it's possible...but had to ask
Also, is there a Footer area? All I can see in the screenshot/mockup is a Content Bottom....

Actually yes, there are header and footer sections in that drag-n-drop layout system and yes you can drag modules to the header or footer. I believe the plan is to use css for the position so that you can have:Xsecrets wrote:what do you be this is the last time we see any pre-release screenshots.

etc in the css, each with the different look

6 positions being? Header, Footer, Left Column, Right Column, Content Top and Content Bottom?Qphoria wrote:Only the modules are movable and they can be in 1 of 6 positions
Would be nice if things like Breadcrumsb, Language selection, Currency Selection, Login fields etc can be made into modules. Think of the possibilities!Qphoria wrote:breadcrumbs are still static.
