Problem with Installation

When i want to install my opencart at my domain it shown this message!
The following errors occured:
PHP 5.0 or above is required.

Please fix the above error(s), install halted!
I have MySQL 5.0, but PHP MyAdmin 2.9.1
So what i need to do?

You need PHP 5.0 or above.

PHP 5.0 or above not phpmyadmin but php (no myadmin)
Contact your webhost and ask them what php you are on

You might be able to see your PHP version on the left side of your control panel
