For the products displayed on the homepage, I'm looking for a solution to add to them an add to cart button.

Try searching add to cart button
It is a long thread and you need to make a few changes but the basics are in that thread
Or, you could use Qphoria's Category Options List contribution which gives more than you require (for options) but has the add buttton as well
