Hi there
I've just purchased QPhoria's CMS module, which looks great. Only problem I haev is that for some categories, there is no second level of information (ie no articles). In this case, the category description is not displayed. Is there any way of altering this so that the category text is shown, even when there are no articles below?
Thanks in advance!

My workaround, should anyone else have this problem, was to provide the description for the category-with-no-articles as an article within that category. Then I linked directly to the article from the category settings page. This achieves a neat result, but is a bit of a fudge - fine for a techie, but my customers fined it a little confusing.

Any plan to provide this capability Q? It's rather like being able to display a category description for which there are no products, as you can now do (I believe) in 1.4.8.

I will have to add that to the mod like i did to the product categories in 1.4.8

Well I realise that (having paid!) - I meant will you post the fact that it's done on here so that we know it's done? Otherwise, how would we know?!

Hi Qphoria,

Have you got round to fixing this yet? I've just bought this & I need to have categories but I don't want any articles, just a page of text for each category so at the moment I'm stuck. Or could you give me a quick fix if possible?

One other thing. When I try to add an article, there is no save button and no way to add text to an article. I try clicking the filter button but I'm asked to login and then returned to the same page. Any idea what's going on?

Thanks,
Dan

OK, well I've worked out that one must first click "insert" to edit a new article and save it. Well I could try and add one article to act as the content for the category page, if it weren't for the "read more" link. Is it possible to remove this and just show the whole article on the category page?

Cheers,
Dan
