Hi
I am using OC v1.4.8 - clean install and have currency autoupdate selected but notice only my default GBP appears to be updating, others are not (Euro and USD). I also added AUD today and that shows as 0.00 against it?

I have spent a long time exploring the forums and docs but have not been able to find any solutions.
Can anyone tell me how to manually update? I cannot find any details anywhere, I am sure I must be missing something obvious!

Thanks in advance for any insights :-)

I've not used this myself, but this page seems pretty straight forward:

auto update only happens once per day i believe unless you make a change. Be sure your default is set to 1.000 and save.. then load the dashboard and they should update. Be sure you have auto update enabled as well and no curl/fsock errors in the system log

Hi Qphoria
Thanks for your reply, auto update is selected in Settings and no curl/fsock errors appear in the system log, but the currencies other than default (GBP) show they have not been updated since April, (when I first installed OC)
I wonder now if I have misunderstood the auto update setting?
When selecting default currency as GBP in Settings and selecting Yes for auto update, does this only apply to the default currency and not auto update other currencies? Maybe this is why they show as last updated in April??
Still doesn't explain why the newly added AUD shows a value of 0.00, but I am obviously missing something!

Is the manual update option people have mentioned literally that - i.e. I have to use a third party currency converter for each currency each time I want to update it and manually add the figures in 'value' myself?
Surely not as that would involve a lot of time to do!?

Appreciate any further suggestions :-)

Thanks for your reply too Steve, I had followed the guidance on that page initially, I think I may have misunderstood what auto update does, but am hoping not as surely it should update all currencies enabled?
Hoping someone can shed some additional light on what I am missing :-)
