Hi,

I have installed OC and it's working fine but i am not receiving any mail when my customers send us email by using contact us form

I have tried both options (mail and SMTP) but result are nothing, can any one tell me there is any specific setting which i need or any other reason which blocking mails please share so that i can resolved this issue.

Try to enter customer mail something@adityapromoters.co.in

and check if it is delivered to your admin mail. If it is, then it's your hosting provider causing this trouble.

hey, im using OC 1.5 and still same problem occurred. how to let hosting provider to fix it?

but i just cant understand what u meant by "Try to enter customer mail something@adityapromoters.co.in and check if it is delivered to your admin mail."

Hello, I have the same issue Alibegovic i have used info@example.com in setting and have checked both admin and info email addresses but neither of them are receiving emails.

Having same issue. None of my other sites hosted from my server are having this issue so I'm assuming it's the opencart platform. Rather important as I've watched the analytics on my site and the "contact" and "contact success" pages are both lighting up.

Found the solution in another thread. Add "-F" in front of your email in the mail preferences. the capitol makes all the difference.

Depends on the server, but as per barnabas' post

in the mail parameters put either

-fyou@youremail.com or -Fyou@youremail.com

It still not working.
I tried:
-fyou@youremail.com or -Fyou@youremail.com
And isn't working. :(

Check your web error logs on your cPanel or Plesk console regarding this trigger. This should return you the reason on why it has a possible failed response.
