I have my store working properly but when I installed Export/Import module i have to login to the admin panel each time i go to a new link (ie catalog, sales, system, reports, etc)

Also I do not see the import/export function either. I am using 1.4.9.1. Does anyone have any ideas?

Did you make the edits to the header.tpl file to add the menu item in? The instructions are fairly straight forward on how to get the module working correctly

Okay I found the links under "System" (didn't expect it there) but still having an issue with it. First everytime I go to a different link on the admin panel I have to login again

"Invalid token session. Please login again."

Secondly, when I export the file, the spreadsheet stops at column L "store ids", no products, only catagories.

thanks.

Okay, I didn't see the other tabs on the spreadsheet (duh) so please disregard the previous issue with it. I have been used to using something like this on OSCommerce

BUT STILL have the problem with "Invalid token session. Please login again."

Thanks for your help!

Is the token issue only with the export/import module? Or with the admin panel as a whole?

it is with the admin panel as a whole. For example just now logged onto the admin panel and then as soon as I click on "sales" it pops up the logon screen and gives me the invalid token error.

Thanks for your quick responses!

Upon using search i have found the following suggestion for this issue..

That module probably hasn't been updated for 1.4.8, which means you need to check the box for "Ignore Tokens on these pages" in the admin side. It's under System > Settings > Server.

Doing so allows me to go to these pages I check ignore tokens on but I'm having to check a LOT of them. Is this overriding my security?

I think id be right in saying that if your having issues with tokens for everything admin side, it could be something to do with caching problems.

perhaps even write/read permissions on your ftp folders/files

Im just guessing.
