When adding a new product, the following message appears: " * Product Name must be greater than 3 and less than 64 characters!"
Furthermore an old product that was entered earlier into the database does not appear when switching to German language (neither in the English nor in the German tab). It is only visible when the admin-area is operated in English.
Additional suggestion for creating products:
What about a "copy data to other languages"-button so you can easily copy the settings/enterings that were already made for another language to a new language. Or a function where you could have a default language for the products-data and if there is no special data entered for the other language(s) the data from this default language is taken over. That could save time when populating the database and preventing from having products not appearing at all, in case you forget to enter data for another language.
I kinda agree with that.. When adding a new language to other products, it should maybe clone the existing language to that tab.

as well as gives a fall back to have "something" in that product's field, even if it's not the correct language. You are going to need to modify it anyway, but it will at least prevent breakage.
