[0.7.9RC3] Image-files are not deleted on the server

Hi,

after deleting the sample images in the admin-section of OpenCart, they still are present in the /image-folder though they are gone from the admin-sections display.
What about the image cache-directory? Is it cleared automatically from time to time? If not: there are obviously some of the above mentioned (processed) files also remaining.

I had a think about this, and I came to the conclusion that either the cache should be removed when the source object is removed, or the cache should expire, or both.

I'm not 100% sure exactly how this would work, so it's something I will come back to later.

Daniel said the cache is only updated when the main image is newer than the cache, but when deleted from the main image, the cache will stay indefinitely. So yea a delete that trickles down might be best.
