Paypal standard problems on 1.4.9.1 ...

I setup a new store (1.4.9.1) and have performed transactions through paypal standard and the money transfers to and from the live accounts correctly, but orders are not being recorded.

When I look in the admin tool all the orders appear under "missing orders" and when I edit them I cannot change them from a status of "--none--"

What is strange is that the paypal module setup has no options available under Order Status Completed, Order Status Pending etc. They are empty dropdowns - should something be in here? I wonder if that is something to do with it?


I had problems with curl initially ...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function file_get_contents_curl() in [website path]\catalog\controller\payment\pp_standard.php on line 222

but I enabled openssl extension and fopen in the php.ini and now I get the success page on my store but the problems above with orders . Any help is appreciated.

Well sure.. obviously if you have no order statuses in the list then it will never change the status. What happen to your statuses? Are you using another language besides english and didn't enter them?
