Re: Server exploited last night, any help appreciated
Passwords have all been changed. I completely replaced my html folder with a fresh download from the site, then copied the newest journal theme, then fresh downloaded all my extensions. The only files I moved from my older folder were images and that was after explicitly looking through all the fold...

Re: Server exploited last night, any help appreciated
I was running an old version of journal and I wonder if that's what did it they seemed to be hitting some journal js files. I have fully updated it now and fresh installed all files only reusing images after going through all folders to ensure no shenanigans.

Server exploited last night, any help appreciated
Last night it appears that an IP from Europe began to attack my OC2.3.0.2 install. It appears they may have accessed the admin side the admin password has been changed. The next standout from the logs is a file called index.php showing up in the images directory: 94.242.252.39 - - [11/May/2017:00:59...

Re: Overnight Opencart stopped working, 500 Errors on front end, backend works
The backup restore was to try to fix this issue. It seems a number of files have disappeared, I have contacted my VPS company to see if there are hard disk issues. This is quite concerning.

Re: Overnight Opencart stopped working, 500 Errors on front end, backend works
I have updated the journal theme and gotten rid of the only error I was getting.
I cannot find evidence of the server being compromised, i've checked secure logs and last logins and nothing showed up there. Anything you'd suggest I'd look for?

Hosted Payment Gateway Extension
We use a payment processor named Helcim (https://www.helcim.com/ca/). We are currently using a free extension from the store to use their payment api which is working great, however it's putting a lot of PCI burden on us. I would like to move to using their hosted payment pages instead, however ther...

Re: Stock Not Subtracting OC 2.3.0.2
I believe I figured this out, "shipped" was not a "completed" status so it put items back in stock. That is a ridiculous default option.

Re: Stock Not Subtracting OC 2.3.0.2
Seems like it might be linked to paypal payments standard, i enabled a different payment gateway and it seems to subtract stock properly.
Any ideas why paypal might cause this? Paypal is set to mark orders as processing which it does.

Stock Not Subtracting OC 2.3.0.2
After a week of running 2.3.0.2 and everything seemed good we have found out that stock has not been subtracting, or rather not subtracting when order status is processing. If I manually change to completed it seems to subtract. However under System > Settings the Order Status and Processing Order S...

Re: Have an old OC site that I need to update to the newest
Thanks for the help, copied it all to a dev site and ran that update, had to install mcrypt and update some modules but it seems to be working. Although the new updates are pretty extensive and will have a big learning curve.

Re: Have an old OC site that I need to update to the newest
I'm thinking it's 1.4.0, looking at first order date was Feb/2010 and looking at index.php between 1.4.0 and 1.3.4 line 14 changes from: // Load the application classes to // Application Classes and I match the 1.4.0 file. Can I therefore assume that http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t...

Have an old OC site that I need to update to the newest
However I can't figure out my upgrade path because I can't figure out my version. I've tried to search for how to find my version but everyone just says it'll be in the footer of my admin login page, it isn't. Does this mean I'm running older than 1.4? I've tried searching this forum for how to find...
