We wish to have a store where some products are downloadable, but some are physical products. Got exactly the same issue here too. Unless you go to "missing orders" nothing shows, even though payment has been successful and email received.
Has anyone had any success with this? I notice that these are recent posts.

Slow in IE8, fine in IE7 & IE9
I'm having serious slow-down issues with my store when using Internet Explorer 8. The odd thing is that the site works fine on IE7 and IE9 (and every other browser I've tried it on). My client's spotted this (see attached screen grab) on one of his competitors websites, and naturally wants one of his own.
