Your right this would be on the expensive side but it is a lot more in depth than other modules. Also i have to recuperate costs associated with development.

I have contracted somebody to do this maybe it will be ready in the next 3 weeks. I hadn't thought of the partial payment. At this stage that will not be in what i create.

I was hoping i wouldn't have to change the database for such a small thing and cookies are less permanent.
I thought there might be some internal variable board that is saved on the server.
Oh well, I guess i will have to change to database then.

Ok thanks guys. The comercial plugin looks good, but it does allow you to add products to the cart during the checkout screen so maybe i can disable that module when it is on the checkout screen to avoid problems?

Editing the category module properly
Hi I am still new to this sorry if this question seems stupid. I want to change the way the categories menu behaves in the left colum but i am not sure of the correct way to achieve what i want.
