Migrate 1.5.4.1 categories to 1.5.5.1

Hi All,
I am trying to migrate categories used in 1.5.4.1 version to 1.5.5.1 but not getting them at admin->categories option..
(its empty like no categories )
I checked database and there are two new tables "category path" and Category filter in 1.5.5
I found that i need to update path table ....can anyone tell me how to generate the path table data with 1.5.4 categories table?
Whats the repair button in categories ? will this update path table ?
