Option subtracting more than 1 unit in stock

Hi.
I'm building a site for selling workshops, i can't find any extenson that allows me to do the following:
Each product (workshop) has 4 dates (option with combobox), each date has 30 units.
Side to this option there is another option (radio buttons) where user selects the number of persons, 1, 2 or 3. (for 2 persons you get a better price than x2, so i disabled -1+ quantity).

What i need is that if user select, for example, 2 persons, the system subtracts 2 units from the selected (date) workshop.

Is that possible?
I've contacted Qphoria through his site, cos not sure if his OptionBoost can do this.
Sorry if this is not the way of procedure, i'm new on this forum.

Thanks in advance!
Jesús

Uhmm.. anyone?
By the moment i've removed the persons option, but would like to use it in the future, if possible.

It appears that the simplest way out is to set number of persons as the quantity on hand and let them order numbers of persons. Public meeting rooms ordinarily (at least in USA) have posted caps on numbers of people (set by fire marshals or the like), so that number should be easy to get and use as quantity available. You could let them enter that number manually (just as choosing quantities of ordinary consumer products) and OC would make the adjustment. With radio buttons you would inevitably have people letting you know that they actually want more than the radio buttons provide for.

Thanks Bute. The problem with that solution (which is what we have now) is that we can't set a concrete price for 2 persons, instead of price*2 that default quantity does. We can deal with special offers related with quantity, but that will make complex the admin.

Thanks anyway for the reply. ;)

Most of us who have dealt with professional live, formal to semi-formal symposia, forums, and workshops have long since grown accustomed (1) to seeing no variations in registrant rates UNLESS discounted for prepayment via card or penalized for last-second payment in person; (2) to seeing variations in room rates UNLESS prepaid along with event preregistration; (3) to seeing no variation in food rates UNLESS not included in attendance package; and (4) to seeing that attendance is limited to a fixed finite number of people. The solution suggested is NOT what the original question shows as "have now" as the problem.

If you care to make extra complications and work for yourself, then have at it. If you insist upon number discounts (1*4 for less than 1+1+1+1), just be sure to think through your own outlays. Workshops have pitfalls, including ones relating to attendance and costs of putting them on in the first place.
