Hi guys,

I thought I was getting cute themeing a new site using the CSS theme, but I now realize that what I am trying to do is a bit beyond me.
Have a look at http://112.140.180.30/~andrewsc/ notice the tabbed menu in the header has been changed.
So I have the category menu items up there linking correctly, which is great.
What I need help doing, is getting the background image of that menu item's div to change, the same way home, basket, & login do.
One thing I notice on the demo store, (and mine) is that no matter what product or category you are displaying, the home tab is coloured. Which makes me think something in a 'product' file (controller?) is setting that tab to be coloured.
This makes me think it may be difficult to call up the category and display the correct background images accordingly, and that a better way of getting this to happen may be by using CSS to style a category.

Anyway I think this is all way over my head, so whoever thinks they can do this, I am willing to pay for it to be done, so feel free to message me with a quote and brief description of how you would do it.

Thanks

Try googling css menu active state. Plenty of tuts that should get what you want done.

Hope that helps.
