Is opencart genarate automatically order details mail ?

Is opencart send automatically order details email to the customer's email? Can i edit it?
Plenty of threads on these issues, but not sure what your 'issue' is.
If you want to edit the email the customer gets, that's another story. If your customers are not getting emails, read on.
