Hi.
All I am trying to is to add a simple custom div containing some custom static links to the top left of my header in my header.tpl.
However, wherever I seem to add the code, it either appears above the header and pushes the header down, moves header content or doesn't want to adhear to CSS within the style sheet.
Is there a proper way to do this, or better a simple way that doesn't break anything else in the header.
Much thanks,
Reece
Hello,
You can add a <div> anywhere in the header.tpl or footer.tpl, just to make an example, and then you can configure it using the CSS file.

You can also (further) float and layer it. For that the commands will differ among browsers, for example between relative and absolute positioning. You'll find among general web reference and tutorial websites a wealth of hows, don'ts, and examples; of more than you ever wanted to know about it.
