I am working on getting a new online store up and running, but I am having a bit of a problem with the shipping extensions. We do not warehouse our products our selves. We are using DBL Distributing, who will be drop shipping for us.

We still want to charge the customer shipping, because DBL will be charging us for shipping via UPS. However, unfortunately, the way the UPS module that comes with OpenCart works is we have to have a UPS account, and it charges the shipping to our account with our return address on the shipping labels. The problem is that the way DBL works is they create the shipping labels, and charge us for them, with our name on them but their return address.

Is there a way to charge the customer for UPS shipping without actually creating the shipping label, and ordering the shipping through UPS in real time, as DBL will handle the actual shipping, not us?

The UPS module that comes with OpenCart is not actually integrated with UPS -- it just pulls the quote, and applies it to the cart. You can then ship the product however you want.

If it *does* charge the order to your UPS account, then you're using an extension or modification.
