Has anyone come up with a solution or 'How To' to achieve an Accordion Menu for Categories in 1.3.4?

I was hoping to implement something like these but haven't the foggiest where to start:

Background info page here:

Any ideas?

I'll do it this week. Sorry it's taken so long.

i woudl have thought adding a jquery accordion would be incredibly easy given that the layout code is already pretty much there as it uses lists (unless of course i have forgotten that i have edited that part?) so really just need to add the javascript code and a little styling and should be done.

If the fields are dynamically populated then would have thought it would need to interact with some OC variables..
