First time install (v1.5.5.1) and all seemed to go well. I deleted all the pre-installed categories and now adding the new ones. Adding a normal/parent category is fine, however when I go to add a sub-category I enter the "Category Name" then click the "Data" tab to select the parent category. The "Parent" is just a text input field and not the select box like that in the online demo. I'm unable to add sub-categories.

Is this a bug or is some module not enable? Am I missing something?

the new parent category is auto complete. which means you should just have to start typing the name of the category and click the category from the dropdown.

Thanks, That does work.

I would like to toss this out there, I think in this case having this as a select dropdown might be better. I'm upgrading a customer who is 70+ years old from osCommerce to this and a dropdown for this just seems to make more sense.
