bug in image upload

hi,
i don't know if its bug or what but if i create folder with name
But if
you remove Apostrophes and create folder with name
I am on 1.5.4.1
i don't know if its bug or what but if i create folder with name
it won't upload and delete and keep on saying Warning: Please select a directoryclancy's
But if
you remove Apostrophes and create folder with name
it will upload file as well as you can delete it . don't know i am only one facing thisclancys
