Sometime last night our the back end of opencart stopped working with chrome and internet explorer. Contacted the webhost and they said it was most likely a problem with opencart's cache. I've gone through and cleaned out all of the caches. I've posted screen shots of what it is doing in Chrome. This is quite bizarre. I was hoping someone on here might have seen this before or could think of any possible reasons for this to happen. Thanks in advance. O0

I tried my admin in Chrome (latest version of Opencart and Chrome), works fine. Have you tried clearing out your browser cache, and deleting everything in the System > Cache folder? Did you add any modules recently?

One thing of note I do get a message "invalid token session" whenever I type in the url for the administration. Only in chrome.

I tried everything mentioned above. Again, nothing new was added -- I had only been working on the style sheet and a tiny bit of code added some dynamic category thumbnails to the products landing page. But, nothing crazy that would cause this --

There have been no new modules added and this portion "broke" when no one was around.

It's all very strange.

You may want to clear out your browser cookies completely and visited sites history, etc. then try again. That invalid token thing can be caused by floating junk in your browser's innards.

Okay tried that to no avail -- It did get rid of the session message. But, I still have no navigation or styling in chrome.

Does your site use SSL (https) throughout? Try typing in the URL without the 's' if so...Chrome seems to have weird issues with it sometimes.

okay so i logged in and type http url manually and go to the login screen logged in and it didn't work-- but i noticed the font changed (weird)... so then in the following logged in screen i deleted the s from the https out of the URL in the browser (which kept me logged in) and it came to a working styled screen. What could be causing this? It seems to be working correctly now. But, I'd like to fix it so I don't have to do some funky url stuff to log in in chrome.

I've read that Chrome occasionally has weird issues with stylesheets and SSL for whatever reason, going back a year or two in the versions. No real fix from Google that i've seen from my searches. My quick solution would be to maybe do Firefox or IE just when working on your site for now.

It is not just chrome. There is some data that doesn't appear in Firefox for example the order history doesn't appear in FFOX unless you use the http protocol. In any event, I have ixwebhosting looking in to see if there is anything that they have done that may have caused this problem.

As of last night, this was working fine. Which is what is really strange about this bug.
