was wondering if there's a way to make a coupon that will work once a minimum amount is in the cart.
for example, $5 off when you order $20.00 worth of items. But it wouldn't kick in until you have $20.00 worth of items in your cart.

I have an AutoDiscount mod here that will do it. Takes the discount at checkout automatically. Also supports multiple discount levels based on how much is purchased. eg
10 off 100
14 off 158
22.59 off 200
etc

i like the functionality of that, but is there a way to tie that into a coupon code?

not wanting to have everyone who puts $20 worth of stuff in their cart get $10 off.

hmmm...
i tried that with discount being $5.00 and total being $10.00 with a fixed amount. when applying it in the cart, it keeps coming back with an error saying
"Error: Coupon is either invalid, expired or reached it's usage limit!"

odd.

aaaand i'm an idiot for not setting the date further in the future.

all is worked out now
