When I add and edit categories, products etc.. on admin area and I press the ENTER button... nothing happen!
In many other CMS like wordpress, joomla and drupal, and many opther ecommerce like magento and ubercart and all joomla and wp adons, are doing it.
I strongly suggest to add an extension doing that or add it in core of the next opencart release.

By adding the enter function, what would happen if the form on the page has many tabs - such as the admin orders page ? All it would do technically is return each error messages that some entries wouldn't be completed and the merchant still has to revise all required fields in the form until these fields are totally filled out which would be the same than clicking the save button at the end.

I have no idea about it, are you sure that really tabs are so much crazy about the saving trough the ENTER button? I hope not.

Technically, hitting the save button would be the same action as hitting enter but simply a different event key every time the admin would fill out a form.
