Hi,

I recently (yesterday) purchased the Product-Based Shipping Extension for OpenCart.

I've tried to setup the shipping rates/rules as follows:

I have 2 products, one costs 8.95 to ship, the other costs 29.95 to ship.

Currently, if someone adds one of the products to shopping cart and checks out, the correct shipping costs is shown.

However, If someone adds one of each product, the checkout shows the 2 shipping rates (8.95 and 29.95) as a separate selection - obviously customers will always choose the cheaper option...

This is how I need the shipping to work:

If someone orders one of each product, the shipping costs for each product should be added and only one shipping option should be displayed. Eg. the total shipping cost for ordering one of each product should/would be 38.90.

Could someone tell me if this is actually possible to do with the 'Product-Based Shipping' extension?

All help greatly appreciated!

Hi there -- please re-read the help settings by hovering over the yellow ? bubbles. Specifically, you want to read the "General Settings" help about Sort Order and Multi Rate Calculation.

Thanks for the quick reply.

After reviewing the 'yellow bubbles', I've managed to sort this out now by setting the sort order for my 2 shipping rules to be the same sort order.

I did also have the 'Multi-rate calculation' set to 'Highest' and needed to change this to 'Sum'.

Now works perfect! :)

Thanks for your help.
