Guest Checkout and Wishlist questions

Hi,

This is very odd. I have the Guest checkout set to no in the config but a user can still add items to the cart, view their shopping cart and go through the process until until pressing the 'Check Out' button which at that point they are prompted to log in or create an account.

However, wishlist items they can click the link to add but as soon as they go to look at the wishlist they are prompted to log in or create an account.

Why would they not be able to view their wish list without logging into the site?

The wishlist is saved to the customer record, so unless the customer creates an account, the wishlist will be lost as soon as they leave your site. In order to prevent this happening, they are asked to login/create and account. Users being users will leave your site (having looked at the wishlist) and expect the wishlist to still be be there if they return - not going to happen unless they have an account.
