Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows of an extension or solution to the following:

I ship part of my stock from my home location based on weight and volume via auto updated UPS and Canada post extensions (user inputs their postal code). However I also have some items that can be drop shipped from a different location, I would like those items to have their own shipping cost added to the total shipping cost because my Canada Post and UPS extensions calculate shipping from my home location, so this would be inaccurate.

I would like to basically those items to have a separate flat rate or weight based shipping that is added on to the shipping costs of my "home" orders.

Basically, different shipping extensions for different items or item groups.

I was almost sure there was a way to do it but I can't seem to figure it out, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you can reproduce your UPS and Canada Post rates in a weight-based or other formula-based rate, you could use Product-Based Shipping to set different rates for each product, and then combine them into a single shipping cost.

If you need live rates like UPS or Canada Post, though, I'm not aware of a shipping extension that will work for your situation. You'll likely need to have something custom coded. I recommend you post a request in the OpenCart "Commercial Support" forum (http://forum.opencart.com/viewforum.php?f=88), which is checked by a number of OpenCart developers.
