Change Discount price to show total discount price

Hi, hopefully someone can help me, my php skills are shocking.

I would like to change the ['text_discount'] in the product/product.php to show the qty multiplied by the discount.

So on the product page instead of

'qty' or more '£price'

It says:

'qty' or more '£price' - total £(qty X price)
