Geozone- Country all zones minus 2 or 3

Creating a Geozone with all the zones of 1 country is easy, but I am stuck on how to remove a couple of those zones. The input of all zones from a country is automatic, but to have all zones except 1 or 2, it appears they need to be added manually. Is there an SQL database method that can be used to do this. For a big country like Russia or China it is just not practical to add each zone manually.

I get more and more disappointed with open carts user friendliness as time goes by. It appears it does not let you do anything in batch mode. This is just another example.
