Adding delay to the Cart

Hey guys,

Im looking for a way to add like 1-2 seconds delay to the cart (the one in the header) before it fades. I made it so that it pops open on mouseover rather than click, but i dont like it to be gone instandly when the mouse goes off the cart content area.
