Same options in different products with only one stock

Hi,

I need the next.

I have two products, a SHIRT and a KIT (shirt, trouser and shoes)

In the SHIRT product i have color options: RED, BLUE

and in the KIT i have a option SHIRT COLOUR, that is the same as the other product: RED, BLUE

I want to control the stock of the shirt as the same. If someone buy a RED SHIRT in the SHIRT product, i also want to remove stock from RED SHIRT option in the KIT.

Now i need to do this manual, and its very complicated to maintain.


In conclusion, i want to have an option with one stock shared between two or more products

Hi,

There is an extension that allows you to use an existing product as an option of another product.

It may not do it in the exact way you want it to but it would be possible.

You would need to create a product called Red Shirt and another called Blue Shirt both with stock monitored. You would then have a product called Shirt that would have both products as options and another product called Kit with both products as options.
