Hi all,

http://www.zallaza.com/client/unleash/beta

This is my first time designing an ecommerce website using OpenCart. This is what I came up with.

Do comment and tell me if there's anything that I should improve on.

Cheers!

The main image of Jessica Biel is a problem.... she has too many clothes on :)

Very nice site! Great use of the images for shopping bag and logo. Crisp, clean and unique

Howdy,

I really like the transparency, I'll have to lift that for one of my sites :D

The images are really, really slow to load, its very, very slow hosting and that main image is 250Kb (I run on 20Mb broadband, so notice anything that runs slowly).

You might want to try the site in Google Chrome and Firefox, its lost a div somewhere.

It would be a really nice touch if the 'shopping bag' actually incremented item counts when you add the items to the cart.

Definitely has the potential to be a very swish site indeed.

Matt

Code: Select all

It was like that when I found it, honest!

It has really nice look, my note is that the rights side where is just white is not very pleasant and looks buggy to me ... and maybe it is i don't know.
Beside that it's really pretty nice work with background and colors.

Hi Hi..

Thanks! The server is slow because it's hosted in Singapore. Not sure where my client server will be located at though. Might be Singapore too as this is where their target market are.

I've tried with IE7 and FF.. it looks ok. I'll try chrome and see how it goes.

About having incremental items.. I thought of that too, but maybe the next template that I do up.

Cheers!

I can help cause i just check it again from work (both home and work i use FF)
the problem come in home where my monitor is 16:9 there the site is centered but the background is
too short 1280 in width and then in the right aprt there is a white background hole.

When i get home i can sent you a screenshot if you need, but i think you can make the background 1680 in width
or to use just a slice and repeat-x with css.

Thanks Mike for the insights!

I've just read your comments and I will do the necessary changes. Thanks again, dude.

Someone told me about the incremental items in the header, I tried and tried.. and I cracked my head. hahaha. Doesn't seem to work. Oh well..
