I'm using Simon's Google Product Feed addon, which does what it says on the tin.

I am now battling with the new Google changes to Google Shopping, and am pulling my hair out.

I am trying to target campaigns to product types. Google only seem to let you choose the high level type, and won't validate anything else in the feed.

Example

In the extract from the feed below, I have a parent product type of 'Engine Components' with a sub type of 'Stroker Kits'

<g:product_type><![CDATA[Engine Components]]></g:product_type>
<g:product_type><![CDATA[Engine Components > Stroker Kits]]></g:product_type>
<g:product_type><![CDATA[Engine Components > Stroker Kits > Chevy]]></g:product_type>

If I try and add the sub parent type to Google it will not validate.

I have tried various syntax to get this to work, but have failed.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Many Thanks

N

I solved it ;D

So to help anyone else, the deliminator is an >

So in my case the syntax is - Engine Components > Stroker Kits

If you have more levels you just keep adding the > between each level.
