Selling unique products

Hello,

I'm running a shop for paintings, they are unique and I'm adding them with quantity 1 for each. When a customer buys a painting, quantity is decreased to 0.

Is it possible to change STATUS to SOLD and in the view of the product no ADD TO CART displayed if quantity = 0???

right... i was just giving you the alternative of completely hiding the products instead of worrying about showing them as sold.
