Hi, all:

It seems the cache of OC 1.5.4.1 is problematic.
I want to use some new images without changing the image names to describe a product, from Products-> select a product -> Image tab

I uploaded new pictures up to ../image/data/product through FTP, which actually overwrite the old images. However, the products' images shown in image manager will not update, that means, nor matter how I pressed refresh in image manager, only the old images are shown, but the newly uploaded ones with the same name are not shown. It seems they NEVER get updated successfully if I don't change the file names. Why???

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Pei

This has been true in every version actually, not just 1.5.4.1.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

This extension actually creates it's own thumbnails and you can upload multiple images directly through the Multi Image Manager. It basically replaces all the stock OpenCart Image Manager functions and replaces them with a much more user-friendly interfaces.

The Multi Image Upload Manager allows you to select multiple images for one product through the product image tab, then right-click and click on Select for Product. All those images are assigned to that product with one click. You can then drag and drop re-order them, and also select the primary image from the Product Image tab. It's fast and easy. Support guaranteed for stock OpenCart installations. You can get it here: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=6229.
