Any chance of a setting in admin, where a product can be set to be included in Latest Products, or not.
Would be a real simple alteration that would give a lot more control.
I agree. This is probably the only feature that was built into cubecart that I miss in opencart. I don't always want to show every new product - especially when adding things in bulk.

we have done an extension in our store that allows you to select and set one or more products to be the latest.
It's very simple but useful, so you can easily change latest list.
