I'm using 1.5.3.1 and everything appears to be fine with the exception of missing values from the Local tab in the Admin 'Settings'. I have searched for hours and all of the issues I found related to this had to do with the front end and being unable to create/ register a new customer. In my case, I'm able to create customers but I'm concerned about not being able to select a state for my store.

Forgot to add the store directory. Fixed.

When I inspect that dropdown with firebug, it says this:

Also of note- when I logged in to Admin this morning I was able to add my state just fine, but when I saved it and went back to check it, it was gone again.

I was playing with some tempates and now I have exactly the same.

<select name="config_zone_id">
<title>Pagina niet gevonden!</title>
....

Which page is not found?

Placing the default theme back was not solving this ;(
