When I make an order I get a success message and order#xxx
If I look for the order either in admin or as a user, the order is not there at all...

The credit card was charged and when I look in the database the order is there.
I also notice there are numerous other orders in the database (are theses abandoned carts?).
I made 3 test orders and all give success and charge my credit card successfully, but not showing in system.

THIS IS A NEW OC 1.5.4.1 UPGRADED FROM 1.5.1.3
I used 1.5.2.1 then 1.5.3.1 then last 1.5.4.1 to update database in order
then I deleted all files and fresh installed 1.5.4.1 using my config.php files.

(I sent Qphoria an email thinking this may be a Uber Cart problem but then decided to post here)

I have narrowed the issue down to a problem with Authorize.net payment module.
If I make an order using COD the order shows up in the Dashboard and history.

Has anyone looked into any issues with Authorize.net?

Similar issue here with Paypal doing same thing. They fixed PayPal but I don't see the fix for Authorize.net

And also in the bug thread but again for PayPal.

I need fix for Authorize.net

Nothing?
I have a LIVE site that can't take orders right now!
This seems like a similar bug with the PayPal module and they figured that one out.
The files are a little different so I don't know what to edit...

***To fix OC 1.5.4.1 payment method for Authorize.net***

/catalog/controller/payment/authorizenet_aim.php
File compare from OC 1.5.3.1 and OC 1.5.4.1

using OC 1.5.3.1 authorizenet_aim.php
rename all "$response_data" to "$response_info"

save and copy this new file to your server and problem solved...

This needs to be added to the bug report.

Nice save Homestead.
No response for 3 days is scary. I'm glad I seen this and more glad you got it worked it. Thanks for the post.

My job was really on the line here!
I am very disappointed in the lack of responses here. I posted in several places and no feedback anywhere.

The changes from 1.5.3.1 to 1.5.4.1 were not too much but I am not an great programmer so this was a challenge.
I lost something for shipping addresses (not needed for payments) and something that seems to be related to login...
I don't pretend to understand it.

I'm having this same issue, I think it was because I did not have it set to Capture, however I just did an order in TEST MODE and it gave me an order confirmation, but I do not see the order in the shopping cart.

I'm on version v1.5.4.1

This was certainly frustrating.. I am not sure why this issue hasn't been addressed within the main development of Opencart. I almost lost a client over this. He calls me freaking out at 6:30am on a Saturday morning, thinking his site got hacked because he got and Authorize.net email saying they have processed a transaction, but the backend wasn't showing anything..

I did the above fix and it seems to have done the trick..

But now that I have some time to look at Authorize.net module I really think there needs to be the option to "Authorize & Capture" . This is vital, as having only one or the other really isn't an efficient method. When testing this fix this morning I entered and incorrect expiration date and incorrect cv code and the cart still let the order be processed.

Anyone have any solutions for this?

I've considered just rebuilding the mod myself, but to be honest, I am short on time due to some bigger projects I just took on..

On that note, if anyone on here is a GREAT opencart developer/Designer, Message me I am looking for some good freelancers to ease my work load coming in to the holiday season.

The lack of response on this issue is just plain frightening! Where are the developers?
