Hello to all,
I have installed v1.5.3.1 upgraded from 1.5.1.3 and fully configured with vQmod working, a few vQmods installed. Everything is working OK except the weight-based shipping, whenever I try to buy one product or 5 products, the shipping cost is always the smallest shipping cost between the items. Example, if I try to buy (I made some test buyings so far) multiple items where Item A=400gr, Item B=600gr and Item C=900gr, the shipping cost does not show the shipping cost for the total cart weight (in the Shopping Cart page of client side it correctly shows that total shipping cart weight is 400+600+900=1,90Kg) but shows the shipping cost for the lightest item of 400gr!
Am I missing any configuration here ? The shop is configured to use Kilograms weight class, the shop is single and no multiple shops are available...
Thanks in advance
If you didn't change you weight-based shipping settings, then it seems like it's probably a product weight class error. Try re-saving your products to make sure the weight class is in the database correctly, then try getting another shipping estimate with those products.
If you weren't using weight based shipping initially, then I would make sure your weight classes are set up correctly (i.e. using kg and not grams).

Hi Johnathan,
Thanks for your reply. I was using before the weight based shipping before on v1.5.1.3 and everything was going just fine. After upgrade I noticed this trouble, and noticed it a few days ago when multiple items were bought and shipping cost was not right...
I will try again to re-save all products, maybe this will help

I know you can spend a small fortune on extensions and why buy something that OpenCart already does but this extension I had to spring for:

These guys have different shipping extensions to fit your needs and this one is just what the doctor ordered for me.
Johnathan is not paying for this plug. Lol.
