Changing the route=product/category to a different path

I guess I was not clear in my last post, please forgive a newbie.

I want to be able to change the path of the link/links that are in the dropdown menus.

instead of having the link go here...

http://trixfer.com/store/index.php?rout ... path=20_77

as it does automatically, I want it to bypass the product/category part and go directly to the product page as in..

http://trixfer.com/store/index.php?rout ... duct_id=63

thank you in adavance for any help you may have.

Clarification.

I think what I am asking for is to have the links for items go to the product page instead of the catagory page.

Thank you for the help. This does manually add a link to the menu that take us where we want to go.
But we want it to happen automatically.
I'm thinking that this section of the header code may be the one we wish to alter????
