Coupon Category Selection not Working

Hey,

I am hoping someone can help me. We have our shop all set up and ready to go (apart from one or two tweaks) and I wanted to add a Coupon for a special promotion.

When I select the Category and Save the Coupon it doesnt display at checkout. When I went back and checked the Coupon it hadnt saved my selected Categories.

Is there an issue with the Coupon Extension? And is there a fix?

Okay so further testing has revealed that the Coupon functionality is working correctly but we are now faced with a similar problem to others in that Coupon codes can not be added at Checkout. You have to go into your Cart and add the coupon code there.

I dont think many prospects will do this so the process could be come confused.

I'm looking for a solution for version 1.5.3.1 using a custom theme.

Can anyone help??
