General Install Help

Hello, I need some help.
I am using 1&1 hosting, and I want to install Open Cart.

Anyone know what to do?
I'm not familiar with FTP and MySQL and such.

I have read the guide, but I cannot find the upload page

Well, here goes...

FTP  is File Transfer Protocol...a good method to 'up-load' to your host.
I reccommend WS_FTP...there is a trial version.
MySQL is set up on your host.  When you login to where you have your website (your HOST) look for a heading like "MySQL" manager or like that.  The MySQL is where you create a 'DATABASE'...you will set user, password (and permissions CHMOD) and DATABASE name.

With the FTP, you simply highlite which file you plan to 'upload', then, make sure all files (except for TXT files) are uploaded as ASCII files.  TXT files should be 'uploaded' as BINARY.
These settingsshould be clearly visable on you HOST ADMIN/CONTROL panel.

Then, follow the install file (in notepad)

I think your reply isn't really needed either.  It is possible that someone else who is having problems could find that information useful.
