Default Currency not set after setting to 1.00000

Hello,
I have set the USD currency to 1.00000
I was expecting USD to be set as default currency.

All I have is an error message and not default currency...Please see attachment

Need some help.

You need to set the default status in the admin->config->setting- LOCAL tab
