My template will not replace the default one?

Hi guys,

Just trialling this cart for a project.
I have created a copy of /catalog/view/theme/default

I then logged into the backed and went Admin - Configuration - Settings and picked my template.
I saved and refreshed the front end, however its still on the default.

Is there caching enabled or something?

Hi,

If you haven't already you will need to change the path in:

catalog/view/theme/YOURTHEME/template/common/layout.tpl

to point to your own stylesheet, not the default one. You should also change all the paths in *all* the template files that refer to images in the default theme.

Ahh so it was working all along.
I assumed that the path to the theme would be controlled by the backend.

I'm happy to report so far that the templating system seems quite straight forward. Had a look at Magento a few months back and found the templates a nightmare!!
