This module provides you with the ability to create a PDF file from any information type page, and allows your customers to view/download their invoices as PDF files, either from the account history page, or from the online view page. Also allows product pages to be viewed as PDF files.

On pages that can be printed, a PDF icon (and text link) will appear at the right on the breadcrumb line (just below the header). Clicking on this, will present you with a PDF version of the page you are viewing.

Invoices can be printed, either from the account history page or from the invoice view page.

Support is also included for the following Fido-X mods: News pages, Events pages and FAQs.

Administration options include:
Status - enabled or disabled;
Paper Size - drop down list of available sizes;
Orientation - portrait or landscape; and
Output Medium - file or browser window.

This is a self-contained module. The ONLY file that is required to be modified for basic operation is the layout template file (to provide a placeholder for the module). If you also wish to add a link on the account history pages, you will also need to modify the account/history controller and template files (all necessary code is provided in the installation instructions).

You can preview this module at http://dev.fido-x.net. If you wish to have a look at the administration side, you may log in to the admin with username/password "demo/demo".

Note: I've spent a lot of time over the past week getting this working properly, subsequently, there will be a price attached. Since my website is not set up for a commercial operation at the moment, this module will only be available by contact (either by PM or use the contact form at http://www.fido-x.net).

How is this module coming along? tried it on teh demo site and works for me.

I agree the wording is tricky....however, as it covers so broad a number and type of page, it is the best fit solution.

Actually a beautiful solution ... ;D

There are a couple of issues with the dompdf library that OpenCart uses (not the fault of OpenCart). Some "symbols" are not displayable, the "Euro" is one of them. There also appears to be a problem with rending of png images -- not a problem when viewing product or information pages or invoices unless your logo is in png format -- suggest using jpeg or gif (if using transparencies).

Although I've stated that it's available, since I currently have it as a "commercial" module and my site is not set up to "sell" anything, I have it set up to contact me for details.

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my site around OpenCart 1.4.0. When I've got that done (I've still got a few layout issues to work out), I'll be "freeing up" the current set of commercial mods. Should have it done within the next week or so.

Was wondering when this might be ready for 1.4.0 - certainly a MOD I'd pay for!

Thanks, Melanie
