Hello everyone,
We are in the middle of completing a project but are stuck on completing the installation of the SSL certificate. We have done our part in the Admin but there is still some changes to be made. Do we access the cpanel from within our hosting account or somewhere else?
Thanks for all your valuable input!

You want to install SSL or configure SSL on opencart.
Installation is something thats done by hosting company and not related to opencart any way.

Log into the OpenCart Dashboard(Admin)
-- System > Settings
--Click Server tab
--Check the radio button to use SSL

Some hosting companies allow for the client to set up the SSL cert in their cPanel. If you know what you're doing, check in your cPanel and look for the SSL icon.
But still, better to let your host handle it.
Also, don't forget to change your config.php and admin/config.php files.

Just a little update......... so I took everyone's advice and the SSL certificate now works the way we want!

Never doubted it

Onto a new topic now....
Our shipping rates are calculated based on the value of the order i.e table rate. Is there a version of Open Cart (not sure what version I have)that can handle what we would like or are we boxed in with the options that already exist i.e Flat rate, per item etc..
Thanks in advance for the input everyone!!

I am trying to get SSL working on a two store installation. My main store,
http://www.hobby-drones.com is working fine. My second store
http://www.circlecityhelis.com is not. I'm not sure how I screwed it up, but now everytime I try to go to the site i get the message below. If I type
https://www.circlecityhelis.com I get page not found.
Did I somehow deleted a file from the root of circle city helis.com or do I need to do something in one of the files to get it to work. In the admin panel I set use SSL to yes, and changed the name of the url to
https://www.circlecityhelis.com
What am I missing?

I am on version 1.5.2.2
Thanks for your help,
Lou
This is the display in IE when I type
http://www.circlecityhelis.com
