I am new to opencart and I am unsure how to set up our shipping presets. All of our items include free shipping within the U.S., but I need to offer the option of international shipping and expedited shipping to our customers. Can someone give me a step-by-step on how to set up my shipping? And is there an easier way to set up international zones?? THANKS!!!
If your other rates are just flat rate, you can use the built-in Weight Based Shipping by:
1. Creating your geo zones in System > Localisation > Geo Zones: two for your domestic zone (named "Free Shipping" and "Expedited Shipping") and one for your international zone (named "International Shipping").
2. Setting the Free Shipping geo zone rate to 99999:0, and setting the Expedited and International zones to similar flat rates (e.g. 99999:5.00, 99999:10.00).
You can also use Multi Flat Rate Shipping if you don't want to spend time adding all non-domestic countries to your international geo zone.
