I currently have two stores set up. They both have the home layout as default layout in settings -> "storename" -> Store -> Default Layout.

The home Layout has a featured module attached to it. Both stores show the featured module on the home layout (common/home) perfectly.

Only the second (non default) store shows the featured module on _every_ page (product, information, etc). The default store works fine.

Is there something I have been missing about layout? Thanks!

Solved. You have to add extra routes for the shops pages seperately in the Design -> Layout -> "pagetype".

Always lovely how you can be busy the whole day and find the solution in a few minutes after finally asking for help.

can u pls explain what exactly is pagetype. Have same problem, i have created new layout, but page is blank.

Here is what I did based on the earlier messages. I beleive we both have the same problem...

Under desingn -> Layout -> Home -> add one more route for the second store (route:common/home). That solved my problem.

i must missing something, has added route for second store, same module still on over every page in second store.

Check that stores settings and make sure the default layout for the template isn't the home layout.
